Walter Wade Donnelly was born February 08, 1874 in TN, and died November 20, 1947 in Oxford, PA. 8 May 1896 in Johnson County, he married Hattie Virginia Elliott, born 1874 in Ashe Co., North Carolina, daughter of Julius Elliott and Martha GREER. (see their picture)

Walter came to PA in 1920 where he purchased 120 acres of land in Russellville, PA. He had a general store on the farm. His son Thomas ran a garage repairing vehicles and selling tires. Thomas closed the garage and worked with Walter in the store. They sold gas, feed, groceries, clothing and hardware. Later the store was given to Wade to run in the late 1940's. Julius ran the farm until his death in 1932, Thomas took over the farm then and helped run the store. Today Thomas's wife Mildred and daughter Joyce Edwards still live on the farm.

1. Frances D. Donnelly was born February 09, 1897 in N.C., and died May 22, 1983 in PA.. She married Alex Wagner May 09, 1915 in Johnson County, TN, son of Daniel Wagner and Mary Snyder.

2. James Wade Donnelly, born April 18, 1898 in TN.; died 1966 in Russellville, PA. He married (1) Helen Mae McCrabb 1914 in Elkton, MD. He married (2) Irene Joyce Matney May 09, 1921 in Russelville, PA.

3. Julius Doran Donnelly was born November 29, 1899 in TN., and died July 09, 1932 in West Grove, PA. He married Helen Marie Gordon in Beulla Baptist Church, 1921 - 1922 in PA, daughter of William Gordon and Ida Cox. Julius was a Farmer.

4. Thomas Orr Donnelly was born May 06, 1901 in Mt. City, TN,, and died March 31, 1971 in Lancaster, PA. He married Mildred Gordon January 19, 1931 in Chestertown, MD, daughter of William Gordon and Ida Cox.
