Martha married John Granville Davis, who was born June 12, 1869, Watauga County, NC, and died August 8, 1944 at Shulls Mills. John G. Davis was a son of Elbert Davis and Nancy Parker. Other children of Elbert and Nancy were: W. P. Davis (m. Ellen Isaacs); Arthur Davis (m. 1) Mollie Dicen 2) ?Dunn); Roby Davis (m. Dona Roberts); Manuel M. "Bud" Davis (m. Julie McGuire); Lizzie Davis (m. John Triplett); Caralee Davis (m. Dayton Jenkins); Mary Davis (m. Will Kirby).

The nine children of John G. and Martha Church Davis were:
