This is the earliest picture known of Luther Alvin Curd. He was the son of Richard Franklin and Mary Augustus Freeman (Fremon) Curd. Richard's parents were Ezekiel and Mary Ann Hammons. Luther married Mary Caldona Osborne of Ashe Co. North Carolina
