In this cause the Deft having been charged by the prosecution Eliza J. Crosswhite of being the father of a bastard child born of her body before Rufus Moore Esqr & B [sic] for said cause on or about the 15th day of February 1855 and the Defendent I.W. Wilson having made his personally appearance in open court and being further charged by the ? and the Deft Produced an Instrument Perposting to be a receipt after the court hearing Proof in notation? to said Instrument and the Deft being Present and further charged by the Court alledged that he has paid all as charged. It is therefore considered by the Court that the Deft Enter into hand as the Law ? and be fined in the sum of sixty dollars as follows. To Wit that Execution Issue fourthwith [sic] for ten dollars and that on the 15th day of February 1856 Execution Issue for thirty dollars and that twelve months thereafter Execution Issue for twenty dollars for the use of the mother as aforesaid and that Deft Wilson pay all cost that have and may accrue in said case. Thenceforth the Deft entered into hand according to Law with approved security.
